Find out more about your favourite Max Voltage characters:

Max Voltage

The reluctant hero of our series, eleven-year-old Max may be small in stature, but put a games controller in his hand and he is transformed into a gaming colossus.

‘Upgraded’ by M.U.M, Max must use every one of his new superpowers if he is to successfully defeat the Overlord and find his dad. Can this shy, timid boy really be the saviour of the Multiverse?

Stevie

If Stevie were an animal, he’d be a big slobbery dog. Loyal, playful, and always in search of his next meal, it’s his stomach that more often than not gets our duo into danger.

Lucinda

Rude and obnoxious, but look more closely and you’ll see a frightened little girl who is desperate to ‘fit in’.

M.U.M (Multi Universe Matrix)

A living supercomputer, M.U.M shares a telepathic link with Max, enabling her to enhance both his physical and mental capabilities. A surrogate mother to the group, she will do whatever she can to ensure their survival.

ED-21 (Emergency Droid Twenty First Generation Series)

Butler, cook, engineer – when he’s not blowing a fuse and malfunctioning, it’s ED-21’s job to look after the group and repair the Cosmo II.

Snot

A slug-like alien life form evolved from Stevie’s… yep, you guessed it… SNOT! Able to shapeshift (not always successfully!) Snot’s favourite hobbies are eating and sleeping – not necessarily in that order.

The Overlord

The villain of our series. A diabolical and powerful ruler who lays waste to entire universes in his quest for immortality and supreme control of the Multiverse. But something has gone wrong and his body has started to rapidly age and decay. Reliant on mechanical implants and transplants from his unfortunate victims in order to survive, he will stop at nothing to find Max. But why? Only time will tell.

Agent 84

Put into service after his predecessor, Agent 83, was melted down and made into a toaster, Agent 84 is a member of the Overlord’s elite android spy unit. Cunning and resourceful (at least he thinks he is) he has been tasked with tracking down Max and delivering him for ‘processing’.

Professor Voltage

Max’s dad and the genius responsible for the creation of the Multiverse Drive. Missing for the last ten years, he is presumed lost in one of the many universes that make up the Multiverse.

Cosmo II

Whilst not strictly speaking a character, this enormous ramshackled spaceship has a personality all of its own. But appearances can sometimes be deceiving. Is there more to the children’s chaotic new home than meets the eye?
